“While in residence at the Bremen Kunstlerhaus, I took a trip with my friend Patricia Lambertus through the canals in the countryside. These canals were carved hundreds of years ago to transport pete from the bogs around Wumme into the port city of Bremen. I made drawings and rubbings along the way.”
