Miami Beach to De Lido Island

 

 

Sam Gordon and I find a dock to launch at Island View Park.

 

We were invited by the mischivious Nathan Carter to crash a brunch he is attending at the Scholl's residence on De Lido Island.

Almost swamped by a boat.

 

But we make it to the Scholl's dock.

 

 

And mingle with the crowd in our life preservers and bare feet.

The Scholl's have a beautiful house and a great collection of art.

But soon it is time to go.

Mr Scholl recomended that we visit Flagler Memorial Island on our way back.

The current takes us right under the Venetian Causeway Bridge.

And deposits us on the Island.
