The second year that I participated in the High Desert Test Sites, I built a sculpture around a rock.

The rock belongs to Garth. He lives in a cement teepee up at the top of God's Way Road. He tends an intricate garden with winding paths, brightly colored pheasants, and various curiosities, all overlooking some of the most beautiful landscape in the world.

Garth kept just one of the boats.
